“My rationale towards dating/relationship: - It's ok for a couple to go out on a group date with a group of friends, perfectly fine. - Couples should at least try to take some time off to spend quality private time with each other, like even going out for a walk in the park, stuff like that. - It's acceptable if your stead is busy and have to rush off and stuff, just don't give (being the stead) the feeling that, "I don't want to be with you, coz I'm rushed for time, don't bother me." show some reluctance to leave? >.< - When spending time together, one should not be concious of the time spent, and during planning, allowing for EXTRA time to be spent. - If you've promised to go out somewhere, even if something else important crops up/you don't feel like going out, promise (and find) another day to go with him/her, it would really make a day for them, instead of them finding another time with you (that feeling really sucks). A Promise IS a Promise. - Especially if the person had already planned out everything, set the day free, just to know that you don't want to go. The feeling can spoil the whole week for him/her. - Never EVER give your stead the feeling that you're uninterested, in a conversation, by multitasking, it does throw them off their mood. - Never make the other person feel like you're obliged to go out with them, or when you're out and start looking at the time and stuff... (the feeling to the person is sucky) Trust me, it does. - Relationships also encompasses spending of time together, even staring at sky, and stuff like that, yeah emotional needs and stuff are also important... - It takes a lot more than just words to describe how a relationship should be maintained.”
just find it meaningful and interesting. totally agree with the rationale budden i'm probably a person that will do most of the wrong times mentioned unintentionally. on the other hand, i may be the other party which get hurts if my darling is even more... mmm... careless than me.
"The Chemistry of Love comprise of 3 element: A feeling to fuel it. Courtship as oxidizer. And acceptance as a spark to start the flame of love. -Kel (seagates.blogspot.com)"
interesting theory. lols, cant help it but thought more deeper into each sentence and realize effort is needed to have all 3 elements. and also it doesn't stop there.
My analysis: 1) A feeling to fuel it: you have to be aware of the particular feeling and have enough 'courage' to act on it (leading to element 2) 2) Courtship as oxidizer: after acting on the feeling, the optimum amount of oxidizer is important but sometimes excess is not encouraged 3) Acceptance as spark to start flame of love: so if you are rejected it wont come to this stage, but if you are accepted (case of too much oxidizer) the flame is too big and i.e. risk the danger of start fast and burn out fast.
4) Efforts made by BOTH parties to maintain the relationship thus refers to the oxygen needed for the flame to continue burning: am i right to say this? fire goes off without oxygen. so when fire = love, oxygen = effort to maintain love. 5) Conflicts, dishonesty, lack of trust, doubts = strong wind blowing out flame, cutting down of trees? greenhouse effect? (lesser oxygen producing plants, depletion of ozone layer << is this related?): so the flame faces the danger of lack of oxygen
so in the end, if the flame burns out one fine day the love ends there. so they broke up and perhaps go seperate ways or remain as friends. what if its after wedding? divorce occurs.
in conclusion, is love really as some people say can be everlasting... forever and ever... transcending through time...blah blah blah. i think not, so the ending question leads to me thinking: so what's the point of loving someone in the first place?
answer pls. =D
